El lago de Engolasters está situado a 1622 metros de altitud, rodeado de naturaleza con las montañas al fondo, pinos y zonas de valles con buenas vistas. La zona tuvo también un pasado industrial pues se aprovechó el agua para construir canales, una presa y generar así energía hidroeléctrica.
